Make a simple, but stunning, giant paper dahlia

Just one of these dahlias will make a beautiful wreath for your front door, or mix and match several dahlias in coordinating colours, to create a statement wall display. These lightweight decorations can be attached to the wall using a loop of ribbon, or removable adhesive strips.

Maker’s tools . . .

You can purchase a Maker’s Kit from us, or bring your own tools

We will provide . . .

recycled cardboard, for the backing of your dahlia

guillotines, for paper cutting

rulers

You need to bring . . .

sharp scissors

paper - an old book, magazines, newspaper, coloured craft or scapbooking paper, recyled wrapping paper. Use what you have at home. No need to rush out and buy supplies (unless you want go all matchy-matchy with your home decor!)

enough paper for ONE HUNDRED AND TWO 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) squares and NINE 7.5 x 7.5 (3 x 3 in) squares, which we will cut on the day (that would be roughly equivalent to 10 sheets of scrapbook paper)

a 15 cm length of ribbon or cord, for hanging your paper dahlia
