Let’s re-use waste and make a sturdy shopping basket from recycled packing straps

Faced with the mountains of plastic waste that ends up in landfill, this is a great way to repurpose plastic packing straps. During this one day workshop your will make a colourful and sturdy shopper. Easy to make, utilising all recycled material, each one will be unique with your choice of colour and design.

Some weaving experience is helpful but not essential.

We will provide . . .

all weaving materials

tea and coffee

You will need . . .

sturdy scissors, darning needle, pegs or strong clips

(if you can collect any packing straps, bring them along so we have a variety of colours to work with)

morning and afternoon tea, and a lunchbox for yourself, filled with deliciousness

PLEASE NOTE - workshop time is 9.00 am, for a 9.30 am start
